• Collect, analyze, and report reliability performance data of equipment and systems
• Provide statistical data for decision making on investments or modifications
• Investigations or Root Cause Analyses studies on reliability incidents in the past, and ensure follow-up/plan forward actions are specified
• Propose changes to existing (RCM based) maintenance plans and Equipment Care Strategies (ECS’s)
• Bring (latent) reliability threats and reliability opportunities under the attention with regard to systems and equipment which are pro-actively identified, prioritized, and mitigated or eliminated.
• Perform periodic reviews, monitor and ensure progress on agreed delivery plan/report
• Closely cooperate with interdisciplinary team to devise and suggest systemic solutions for operational, technical, and technological issues impacting the availability and reliability of systems and equipment in the near future
• Carrying out local inspections, Condition determination and spare parts review

Specific:

• Give input to the annual - and life-cycle OPEX budget development
• Generate & implement maintenance improvement initiatives based on (root cause) analysis of cost drivers (maintenance cost) and technically related performance killers (deferment/losses), in close cooperation with all relevant parties
• You are medically fit and willing to visit offshore installations on frequent basis were necessary (with applicable required safety training certificates)
• This role is for 1 year or longer

• Relevant Higher Vocational Education Mechanical / Electrical
• Proven track record in the process industry with a minimum of 10 years
• Demonstrable exposure to Reliability Engineering Maintenance minimum of 5 yrs
• Mastery in reliability engineering principles, processes, practices, and applications
• Proven experience in RCA / RATIO skills and in FME(C)A skills
• Experience as reliability engineer in the oil and gas industry is preferred
• Skilled in the use of Maintenance Management Systems preferably Maximo or SAP for data retrieval for reliability engineering purposes
• Structured organizer and “can do” mentality. Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of English and Dutch, written and spoken
• General computer skills in MS Office programs i.e. Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• VCA-VOL
